Mommy monday....quick update

So I'm coming up to 28 weeks soon and I'm starting to feel like a big fat hippo my bump sticks out so much more lately and my clothes don't fit I think I've had a growth spurt ha ha! I'm still trying to eat healthy even though lately I've been craving a greasy fry up or a takeaway but so far I'm resisting the urge..... Hormones have been a bitch lately been feeling very up and down as well as tearing up over silly things. Bump has definitely been a lot more active moving about and kicking for hours into the early am.

Bump shot with my youngest photo bombing me ha ha....

The past two weeks my boys have been on Easter half term so I've had my hands full. We went to the cinema to watch Rio 2 which they loved, we've visited family and been out and about most days, we also made cakes and had a few lazy film days when the weather wasn't so good. It's been a nice two weeks but I am glad there back at school now like most moms will be....

Here's a few pics from over half term....

Review: rimmel match perfection foundation....

Hey all I'm back today with a review!

I haven't brought a rimmel foundation before as usually they are all too dark for me but with the 11 available shades in this foundation range I was able to get one that was a very close match to my skin tone. I am super pale so I picked up the lightest shade they had which was light porcelain 010 and it was £6.99....

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
Rimmel says: SMART-TONE TM technology adapts to the colour and texture of skin. Flawless natural finish. With an Oxygen Complex. Lets your skin breathe.

My thoughts: A nice overall appearance with its simple packaging (glass bottle and built in pump). This foundation has a very runny consistency that gives a light-medium buildable coverage. It didn't cling to my fine lines or pores and lasted me all day without no touch ups (I did set in place with a powder after the initial application) it gave a natural satin finish and was a very good colour match for me which didn't oxidise on my skin through out the day so I was very pleased with that. I found that the best way for me to apply this foundation was with my fingers rather then a brush. I would definitely repurchase this product when I have ran out, I have been reaching for this foundation on an every day basis over my other ones in my collection. I am very impressed and will be looking to buy more rimmel products in the future....

What it looks like on me:

Mommy Monday....mini haul

Hey all! just a quick post tonight its the start of half term so I've been out and about with my boys today and they have worn me out ha ha!!
Not much to report at the moment bump is doing well and getting more and more active mainly of a night time which plays havoc with my bladder when I'm trying to get to sleep...
I have a midwife appointment tomorrow and a busy week planned so will post a bump shot next Monday so you can see the size of my growing waist line.

I have finally started buying a few things for the baby but trying to keep it all unisex as I'm not 100% sure on the sex of the baby yet....

Got these few things from primark on a recent trip...

Baby vest (3pk) £2.50 each
dribble bibs (3pk) £2.00
sleep suits (3pk) £7.00

Proud mommy moment of last week was when my eldest won a trophy at football

Here's a pic of me and my other son from over the weekend

March favourites...

Another month has ended! I really don't know where the time goes lately. Anyways I thought I'd show you my monthly favourites and give you an overall review of them....

So firstly i'll start with this beautiful eye catching bottle of perfume, its so sparkly in person. This is Vera Wang Pink Princess available in various sizes from superdrug and boots....

Its a fruity/sweet smelling perfume and I absolutely love it!!

Next up are a few things I purchased from the elf studio line...

Pictured above is the long lasting lustrous eye shadows in toast (bottom) party (left) gala (top) and a mineral eye shadow in celebrity (right).
The long lasting lustrous eye shadows are of a mouse texture and are easily applied with fingers or a brush they are very pigmented and sparkly, I use them on there own or as base. The mineral eye shadow is a lovely everyday colour which looks really nice with my blue eyes I have reached for it most mornings when I want an easy shimmery polished look.

This is a cream blusher which is also from the studio line in the colour flirt it also has a mouse like texture and I find it works best for me when applied with the real techniques stippling brush.....

Next up is Maybelline baby lips in cherry me, its a moisturising hint of colour on the lips that's easy to wear and has a nice smell to it. I had to include at least one nail varnish even though there are so many I've been liking recently, the one I picked to share with you is models own hyper gel nail polish in blue glint. its opaque, quick drying, long lasting and has a very shiny finish.

lastly is vo5 plump it up dry backcombing spray, its affordable, easy to get hold of and actually give me volume when my hair is feeling flat and needs a bit of oomph.

I have loved all these products during the month of march and will continue to use them. I would definitely recommend them to you all to try.

Items from elf are available to purchase online at www.eyeslipsface.co.uk
