Mommy Monday: mini haul.....

Hello all hope you had a good weekend this is just a quick post to let you know about Sainsbury's baby clothes range that they now have in store........Great quality at low prices! My mom kindly picked Kennedy some up the other day when she went in store.

Can a £2 foundation be any good??

Can a £2 foundation be any good? that is the question and the answer is yes if it's from make revolution or there sister range I heart makeup!!

I am flawless foundation is only £2 from Superdrug. It has eye catching packaging, I mean come on what girl can really resist a bit of pink ha ha. I picked up the lightest shade in the range (001) as I have a very pale skin tone (really I'm as pale as Casper the friendly ghost ha ha) and it was a very good match.......

Now let's get down to what you here to find out and that is what coverage does it provide....well I gave this foundation a weeks worth of testing applying it various different ways and I found it was best applied with my fingers or a damp real techniques sponge. It has a thick consistency and a mouse like texture it gave me a good coverage that lasted around 6 hours and that was without touching up... after the 6 hours my chin was wearing off and I was looking shiny. I used it in conjunction with my staple collection concealer and collection pressed powder and here's what it looked like on the skin with the light behind me and in front of me

 Not bad ay?? definitely good enough for an everyday foundation!

let me think ermmmm......I would have to say The Vampire Diaries, Dexter, Prison Break and The L Word

I'm currently watching series 5 of The Vampire Diaries at the moment.

3. If you could have any series old or new put on Netflix what would it be?

I'd  have to say One Tree Hill I love this series! haven't seen it in ages.

4. What is your one pet peeve about Netflix?

I haven't got one.

5. What are your essentials for a perfect night in with Netflix?

Hot chocolate and a box of Thornton's classic collection.

6. Recommend one series or film for someone else 

The film I would recommend would have to be burlesque I love it!

Mommy Monday........6 months update

So my baby boy Kennedy Lee is now just over six months old can you believe it?! these past six months have flown by for me, it only seems like yesterday that I was bringing home this cute little baby from the hospital and now he's huge in comparison to back then. 
One good thing about Kennedy getting older is that he's started to develop a personality and he now uses a wide range of facial expressions. This little boy is definitely a cheeky chappy and just loves all the attention as well as the sound of his own voice (he definitely likes to makes a racket these days ha ha). He now shows interest in the TV especially when mickey mouse or doc Mc'stuffins is on and Its lovely to sit and watch him roll about on the floor and grab his toes. 
Recently he started cutting his lower front tooth so that has been causing him some discomfort and made him miserable but its the first of many more to come so I keep teething gel and calpol on hand in case he needs it......
